Nearly highest tide of year, at high tide, and the waves were breaking over Miramar Road, also over the bluffs at Miramar Surf beach, and visibly eroding the bluffs. There were some beautiful and high water spouts as the waves crashed together, too. The spray was shooting up at least 25 to 30 feet above the beach at times. Small rocks and lots of sand were being thrown up on the road by the force of the waves.
