These pictures were taken the 3rd day I had my Nikon Coolpix 2100 digital camera. I went sort of nuts, taking some 125 pictures in about 90 minutes, discarding over a third of them once I got home. These are the remaining pictures. They could use some more weeding out, but it's fine for now. Even though they may not look like it from the lighting, these are all shown in time order (left to right on each line).
Most of the pictures were taken in the scene setting, either sunset or dusk, although a few were in auto mode. The colors are somewhat more orange or blue than the actual scene, depending on how the camera measured the light. The portraits were taken with the flash. A few of the pictures were taken by my friend Max Southall.
The sunset turned out to be quite spectacular, particularly the various colors and reflections in the water. The location was the trail out from the end of San Antonia Road. The large pictures you get from clicking on the thumbnals should all be less than 1024x768. The pages were created from the export mode of iPhoto on my powerbook.
